Cascade Springs

A short stop on the way home from camping - Cascade Springs. A quick walk, which is great for little kids. Parker loved it more than Kenzie, actually. He stopped and admired each spring, and even called out, "Bye bye, wuh-fall!" as we drove off.
Me and my buddy. He kept looking for frogs, although we didn't spot any. We did see some trout, though, which was equally interesting to Parker.
Kenzie is growing up way too fast - look how old she looks! She starts Kindergarten in mere weeks now... so crazy.
All that water reminded Kenzie she needed to use the bathroom yet again, so we literally ran back up the trail with her. Always an adventure with these kids.

looks like you had fun! Hey- I think I have a great idea. We should all go camping together! :) What do you think?

That would be fun! I'm going to need a week to recover first. ;o) But then ask me again and it'll sound better.

Ok, I'll give you time to recover. We'd also need to wait until Nate could have some time off and get a sub for his second job. We'll keep in touch about it.
How long did you go for?

We went up around 1 on Friday and got back around 5 on Saturday. It felt like much longer. haha It was just long enough to enjoy it, but also short enough to keep us all happy. The kids were tired and starting to whine by the end, so we were glad we'd kept it to only one night.
