Parker in a few years?

I love this picture. Parker's Daddy is the knobby-kneed one on the left! (This is Part One of my new installment: Funny and/or incriminating pictures I've found!)

Photo Shoot with Parker

This morning was spent as usual, taking pictures of Parker! Kenzie usually comes running to be in a picture, too, but today she was too busy playing Handy Manny on the computer! His mouth was open because I kept trying to get his attention by saying, "Hi Parker!" and he'd answer me, "Eh!" I wanted a smile, not a response!
I just love this stare. He's such a little Arnold boy!
I liked this one for the toes peeking through the blanket.
The best smile I got was this one, the little nut! He didn't want to pose, he wanted to play!

Cutting the Cake

I swiped this picture off my brother-in-law's Phanfare page. Thanks for taking the picture, Mike! I just thought I'd show the end result with the birthday girl herself (in white). The kids all crowded around make all the dirty dishes worth it each time!

Aubrey's Birthday Cake

Tomorrow is my niece's 8th birthday party, and she requested a white cake with white frosting. I did exactly that, but then got carried away as usual! Kenzie stood right next to me and helped me make frosting, but she wasn't the best confidence-booster while I was making roses. "Mommy, are those hats or flowers?"
I was doing fine until I turned and stuck my elbow right in the cake! (Grace is not my middle name) I tried to fix it; thankfully it'll be all gone by this time tomorrow!

Look Who Dressed Herself Today

Kenzie usually can put together a matching outfit, but for some reason today this look was what she was going for: Christmas dress, flowered jeans, and pink socks. Luckily I convinced her to change before we went in public!

Parker Helps Wrap Presents

I even called Chris this afternoon just to brag about how good Parker was today. He sat on the bed and played with his toys for an entire hour! I wrapped Christmas presents and Kenzie played her Wonder Pets computer game.
Here he is with a scrap of wrapping paper that he swiped. I had to take it away because he was eating it, and you should've seen the sad look he gave me. (P.S. He's wearing a 9-month outfit! I can't believe how big he's suddenly gotten now that he's going to town with baby food!)

Holiday Lights at Thanksgiving Point

Kenzie has been thrilled to see Christmas lights lately, so we told her tonight we had a surprise for her. The whole way to Thanksgiving Point she was in the backseat asking, "Where's my prize?" (She did get a sucker, I guess). Chris started to ask as we drove through, "Are you having fun?" but Kenzie interrupted him with a loud gasp and a, "Look!" so his question was answered!
(And yes, I knew the lights wouldn't show up in pictures, but in the dark I couldn't see to center Kenzie in the picture!)
She was asleep pretty much the second we left!
Parker had started crying as we arrived, and I was worried he would scream the whole time, but once he could see lights he calmed right down. So the lights kept both kids happy; I guess it was worth $5 after all!
