Welcome to a blog about our latest date night, courtesy of Christmas presents from my parents and grandma. After dinner at the Olive Garden, we headed to Kingsbury Hall to see the Mythbusters: Behind the Myths Tour.
We weren't really sure what to expect, and I was worried in Row Z we'd have a terrible view, but actually we still felt close, and Adam and Jamie were really funny. This is the picture they suggested for everyone to take (just look how many phones/cameras/whatever are in the audience!) because it would make everyone who missed the show very curious.
At intermission, Chris spotted one of his favorite authors, Brandon Sanderson, a few rows ahead of us. Although initially timid, I finally dragged him out into the aisle and insisted he say hello. (Just being helpful!) Brandon Sanderson was very nice; he autographed a card, posed for this picture, and chatted for a minute about his latest book release with Chris.

This was my favorite picture - Jamie hoisting Adam up by two phone books with the pages interleaved. It was a fun show; I enjoyed the banter between Adam and Jamie and it was certainly a twist to the usual dinner-and-a-movie date!
